A 5-day short getaway to Kuching: A Taste of Nature escapades with Local Heritage flavour!

Perfect for hiking beginners, families with kids (aged above 10)

1️⃣ Bako National Park
Bako National Park, established in 1957, is the oldest national park in Sarawak, covering an area of 27.27 km² at the tip of the Muara Tebas peninsula. The park is renowned for its diverse ecosystems.
We will do a short hike here to immerse in the wonders of rainforest flora and fauna, and wildlife (like endangered probosci's monkey, long-tailed macaque, silvered langur, etc)

2️⃣ Kpg Sadir
This village is famous for its accessible waterfalls and scenery that will not fail to bring visitors closer to Mother Nature than they have ever been. There is a total of seven waterfalls around the village. Its waterfalls are breathtaking when U hike there. Top 2 are Ban Buan Kukuot and Mabi Falls.

3️⃣ Fairy Cave, Gurung Kapur Summit & Wind Cave
Sarawak is home to numerous breathtaking and mystical caves, offering unforgettable exploration experiences. We will do Wind Cave (with Gurung Kapur Summit) and Fairy Cave.
The captivating limestone caves here are well known among the locals and tourists, for their unique formation of wind chambers and dramatic rock structure.
We will do another trek to Gunung Kapur Summit (274m). It is short, yet it offers some moderate difficulty level to hike up.

4️⃣ Cultural Exploration & Local Flavours: in-depth learning of Kuching's history, culture & Heritage. 古晋老街导览. - Interactive & experiential session
Since 1830, many old stories have been left, hidden in the riverside and every corner of the old buildings. Through the interesting cultural tour, we can explore the depth, breadth and temperature of this small city, discover the unique charm of the cat city from the details, and stroll and meditate on the changes and the unchanging. You get to complete a baptism of culture and history in laughter. You will find that culture is part of life and history is an interesting story...
