Highlights
ββ‘βΊ Khun Chang Khian Highland Agriculture Research Centre: They planted cherry blossoms in the area in a bid to boost tourism. And we must say that it worked; many avid wanderers flock to this secluded nature retreat every year to frolic in its fields and witness blossoming clouds of pastel pink.
ββ‘βΊ Doi Tung: Being there feels like youβre in Switzerland. From the well-manicured royal gardens to the Swiss-inspired Royal Villa where the late Princess Srinagarindra made her home β itβs a place full of history, meaning, beauty & culture.
ββ‘βΊ Doi Mae Salong has evolved into a botanical tourist attraction, drawing hopeful travellers from all walks of life. The area is also a hotspot for cherry blossom viewing. From December to January, expect your world to be awash in a breathtaking shade of pink. Among many Chiang Rai attractions, Doi Mae Salong is one of the most popular places tourists visit in winter because of its low temperature at the top.
ββ‘βΊ Singha Park: A Quintessential Flower Garden in Chiang Rai is a spectacular flower garden that every tourist must visit at least once.
ββ‘βΊ Doi Pui is a neighbouring peak on the same granite base as Doi Suthep. The Hmong Village at Doi Pui has a market and an impressive garden. be sampled at the open-air cafe overlooking the gardens.
ββ‘βΊ Doi Ang Khang: Due to its remoteness, it is one of the most unique places in Thailand where you can experience the breathtaking and untouched nature of the mighty mountain region. One of the most beautiful places to see the Thai Sakuras, the Wild Himalayan Cherry Blooms.
ββ‘βΊ Doi Inthanon National Park, the Rooftop of Thailand, is one of the most popular national parks. It is famous for its waterfalls, few trails, remote villages, viewpoints, birdwatching and the all-year-round cold weather at higher elevations.
ββ‘βΊ Chiang Mai Night Markets - Sunday Markets in the cool months of Jan/Feb are the best times & a must-visit attraction. It is well known for its bustling markets with vendors hawking everything from fresh produce to street food and colourful handmade clothing.
