The Tatra Mountains are a mountain range within the Western Carpathian chain that forms a natural border between Slovakia and Poland. It was established as an official UNESCO biosphere reserve in 1955. The best time to hike the Tatra Mountains is from July to October when most trails are open. Sadly, this period is also the busiest time, and is completely overrun by tourists. May is a good time to visit, but some of the trails in the High Tatras may still be closed, and there is a chance you may end up with a bit of winter hiking. This is FUN!!

❹ Lakes of Love hike, 11 km, 340m ↗
❺ Paradise National Park Hike – Suchá Belá 10 km, 400m ↗
❻ Hike to Green Lake (Chata Pri Zelenom Plese), 16 km, 600m elevation

Can I join alone?
Yes! You can join the tour with “single room occupancy” by paying the single supplement. Please note our price quoted is for twin-sharing for those who joined as a pair. Alternatively, we can assist in matching you with another single traveller of the same gender. We are unable to guarantee the quality or character of your roommate. Please note that a successful match is not guaranteed, and if we cannot find a match, the single supplement will still apply.

Day 2 ☼ : Drive to Slovakia. Low Tatras hike #1 up to iconic mountain shelter hut (8 pax/room)
Day 3 ☼ Low Tatras ridgeway hike #2: Stefanika hut – Dumbier – Chopok – Trangoska
Day 4 ☼ High Tatras hike #3 Lakes of Love: Strbské Lake to Popradské Lake
Day 5 ☼ High Tatras hike #4 Hike to Green Lake
Day 6 ☼ Belianska Cave + #5 Hike Slovak Paradise National Park – Suchá Belá - ladder hike in a Gorge
Day 7 ☼ High Tatras #6 Hike to Téryho Chata - Stary Smokovec via Funicular
