Advanced Algorithmic Trading and Quant Chat (programmers only)

Hi folks,

This meetup is for advanced members, please do not RSVP for this one if you can't program because of limited space (we will have plenty of other meetups, don't worry). If you've been to one of my previous meetups, go ahead and waitlist and I'll give you priority

Got a lot of great feedback about requests to connect the advanced community, so this session will be about:

• A discussion between two quants (ideation to launch)
• Research Tools: Jupyter Notebook vs. Retail platforms (I'll show one of my notebooks)
• Methods: Rules-based vs. Machine Learning (neural nets, LSTM, good or bad?)

And if there is time:

• Brief discussion on MLdP's graduate textbook on machine learning in finance
