For this week, we are honoured to invite a violinist who has performed at JJ Lin Junjie’s concert for an intimate in-house open class.
This session is specially designed for complete beginners.
We’ll take a gentle, relaxed approach to introducing the violin and cello — how they look, how they sound, and why they hold such a special place in music.
During the session, you will:
• Get to know the violin and cello and their basic structure
• Learn a little about the history and character of each instrument
• Enjoy live demonstrations and short musical excerpts
• Get up close to the instruments and try them out yourself
This is not a formal lesson, but an easygoing musical experience.
Suitable for adults with no musical background, and for families curious about introducing music to their children.
No experience needed — just curiosity.
