Please join us for our second official C++ Singapore meetup!
This time, we have someone really special coming over β Tim Song.
π Tim Song is a senior software engineer at Jump Trading in Chicago, a technology and engineering-driven trading firm. A member of the ISO C++ Standards Committee, he spends most of his committee time helping standard library proposals get into shape and fixing bugs in the library specification. He is the author or co-author of a number of ranges features in C++23 and C++26, as well as more than 150 library defect reports. He is also an administrator on cppreference and a frequent participant in the C++ tags on StackOverflow.
π In a previous life, Tim worked on modeling gene expression in dividing budding yeast (S. cerevisiae) cells, for which he earned a Ph.D. in computational biology and bioinformatics.
The meet-up is going to be held at the JW Marriott, 30 Beach Road, Singapore. Food and beverages will be provided.
Anyone interested in the C++ programming language, from students to professionals, are welcome! In this event, there will be some snacks and time to network, followed by a series of talks about the C++ programming language.

There will be some networking and snacks from from 6:30PM - 7:15PM, followed by a talk with Tim and an AMA that could run until 9:00PM.
β JSON and Back Again: Exploring C++26 reflection
One of the biggest and most exciting C++ features is reflection. In this talk, we'll work through the examples that showcases the power of the feature by using reflection to serialize a struct into JSON and deserialize JSON back into a struct. Along the way, we'll also see a few new C++26 language features and common patterns in reflection code.
