What is Cash Flow Management?

Getting bank loans is NOT cash flow management. It is just oneway of getting and managing cash. Even if borrowing, one has to ensure that heor she can repay back, else will get into big financial problem.

Cash Flow is simply managing the cash flow through the businessand ensuring that there is always sufficient funds to meet obligations.

Managing cash flow involves looking seriously at your company's operationsin areas such as AR, AP, assets, inventories and etc.

Cash flow can get stucked when....

• debtors are not paying you on time

• inventories are not moving resulting in obsolete stocks

• there are too many non income generating assets -- e.g. vacant land, buildings.-

• redundancy in staffing
