Globally and locally, more businesses are pivoting towards sustainable practices as greater demand grows from customers, investors and other stakeholders. This sustainability trend is here to stay as governments and businesses raise their commitments to reduce carbon emissions in the United Nations climate change summit, COP26.

Meanwhile, during Budget 2022, Singapore announced new ambitions to reach net-zero emissions by or around 2050.

In view of these trends, how can businesses reduce their carbon footprint and operating costs, and gain a competitive advantage by going green?

Join us for this workshop, where we will cover:

• Understand key international and national regulations and trends on carbon matters
• Gain key insights on the business case for reducing carbon emissions
• Be introduced to LowCarbonSG, our nationwide capability-building programme to help companies decarbonize
• Learn how you can use the Carbon & Emissions Recording Tool (CERT) to measure your organization's carbon footprint, identify areas for operational savings, and gain nationwide recognition via the LowCarbonSG Logo
• Be exposed to solutions and technologies that can help companies reduce their carbon footprint (with presentations by sustainable solution providers)

About LowCarbonSG:
Supported by NEA and ESG, LowCarbonSG is a nationwide capability-building programme that enables businesses to start monitoring and where possible, reduce their carbon emissions.

Companies that successfully measure and monitor their carbon footprints will be issued a LowCarbonSG Participant Logo.

LowCarbonSG is helmed by Carbon Pricing Leadership Coalition (CPLC) Singapore, the decarbonisation arm of the Global Compact Network Singapore (GCNS), and supported by the National Environment Agency (NEA) and Enterprise Singapore (ESG).
