Singapore International Boardgames Meetup (SIBM) officially turns ONE this month, May 2018. In celebration, we'll be throwing a party filled with lots of exciting activities.

Come out and join us even if you don't want to take part in the special activities, it's a great opportunity to meet all of the friends we've made in the past year. Plus free stuff!

Details of the anniversary event below:

  • All regulars who attend (min. 3 meetups) will be given a FREE commemorative exclusively designed keychain by ashionglee (illustrator of Overbooked). Thanks for being part of the best social and board game community in Singapore! Ashionglee will be there too so you can get your keychain signed!

  • The Singaporean Dream Game (www.thesingaporeandream.com) will be launching on Kickstarter on the same day as our anniversary! Special promo items will be given to those who attend this party, and an exclusive tournament will be hosted (see below). Follow them on Instagram at @thesingaporeandream.

3PM: Battle to be the Perfect Singaporean Heats (max 24)

330PM: Tok Tok Woodman 30 Second Tournament
1 chance per participant, tournament ends when there are no more participants

4PM: Battle to be the Perfect Singaporean Finals (prize: a copy of the game plus your own illustrated card!)

430PM: - Mega Werewolf

  • Thurn & Taxis Finals
    Participants: Xinyi, Abel, Juan, Jiawei (Standby: Vincent)

6PM: Specially prepared Basecamp video, announcements, prize presentations, lucky draw

630PM: Photo-taking and cake

THROUGHOUT:

  • Social Media Competition (more details to come)

  • Artist Booth by ashionglee (get your keychains autographed plus pick up cool merch)

  • The Singaporean Dream Game booth to pledge the game

  • 4 new easy-to-learn games from OKAZU brand, designed by famed Japanese game designer Hisashi Hayashi

  • 20 new games for players of all skill levels

  • OPEN GAMING, of course!

Entrance fee is a flat rate of $5 (only if you like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/CardBoardCrew/ otherwise it is $10) and includes a flow of drinks and a variety of snacks!

Hosts, game experts and friendly regulars will be there to welcome newcomers to the exciting and interactive world of board games, so this is a great opportunity to make new friends and meet old ones. You and your friends are cordially invited over to our board game home and family.

We will be there from the start time till the end time stated, so feel free to drop by anytime. However, please note that latecomers will probably need to wait for games to finish before hopping in. As usual, because space is limited, please be courteous about committing to your RSVP so that all of us can plan the best event for everyone.
