About us

iOS Dev Scout, founded in 2011, welcomes all developers and enthusiasts who have been creating iOS apps as well as for anyone who has the passion to dive into native iOS app development. This group aims to engage interaction and sharing between fellow developers through monthly meetups and workshops, provide them with career opportunities, and help them collaborate with one another.

Talks:
Bringing Swift to the Apple II
Swift has now been brought to another Apple platform. Not a MacBook or iPhone, but the Apple II released in the 1970s. Apple's first mass-market consumer product.

In this talk, Kheng Meng will share how he managed to create a mini Swift development environment for this coming half-century-old platform. Environment includes an REPL, compiler, VM, text editor and file manager. This project was done with AI assistance whose workflow will be shared as well.

Yeo Kheng Meng is an Embedded Security Researcher at CSIT more than a decade experience in embedded hardware, software and firmware development.
