7 pm to 7:45pm:: Using the Exposed SQL framework to manage your database with Shengyou Fan. Developer Advocate, JetBrains

Exposed is a SQL framework from the JetBrains team. It offers two levels of database access, one is type-safe SQL wrapping DSL, and the other is a lightweight data access object (DAO). In this talk, we will discuss how to use Exposed to connect to the database and run the CRUD operation within the database in two different styles. We will also demonstrate how to integrate the Exposed SQL framework into a Ktor project.

Mohan is a Cloud and DevOps Professional with a Master’s Degree in Software Engineering from National University of Singapore. Mohan holds pronounced interest in Openstack, AWS, Build, Release Management(CI & CD) and containerization.​ With over 8+years of experience in the field, he has helped clients in DevOps Transformations.​ Along with which Mohan is an ICAgile FDO(Foundation of DevOps) Accredited Trainer and takes passion in sharing his knowledge such as being a Public Speaker at various events like Azure Webinars 2020, Voxxeddays Singapore 2019,Wildcard Conf 2020 and Confluent+Palo IT 2021​
