Naveen is a Solutions Engineer with Confluent and works with customers and partners to help design, architect and implement event-streaming systems. Previous experience includes various aspects of systems architecture. Outside of work he is interested in sports, food and movies.

Abstract:
Often is the case that you do not want to make too many changes to your application's existing code base. HTTP/S is ok but integrating 3rd party client libraries is too much effort. In this talk let's explore the different client patterns that can be used with Kafka and specifically drill into REST APIs - what are the options, how well it performs, and where it's being used.
