Kafka the next generation communication for everything

Abstract:
This session will cover how Kafka will drive communication for AI/ML, IoT, RPA, and all revolutionary changes as per Industry 4.0.

Bio:
Preet is a Solution Architect at NCS-Singapore with 15 years of rich experience in Solutioning, Transformation, and Digitization. Preet has witnessed a revolutionary journey of technologies from dBase to SQL/NoSQL/GraphDB, from Pascal to Python, Onprem to Cloud, waterfall to agile along with multiple Business domain knowledge.

He is always keen to learn and conceptualize new things for better customer experience management. He is a customer-obsessed and collaboration believer.
Preet loves to participate in Half, Full marathons and enjoys dancing on Bollywood dance numbers.

Keyless Kafka

Abstract:
We, as Software Engineers all work with data all day long. And we all have simple asks of that data...We want it to be there when we need it. We want it to be there quick. We want it to be consistent. Gosh darn it, we just want it to work!!! So we can focus on building our applications without worrying about all these edge cases.But we can't always get what we want, at least not everything that we want. And just like life is about making tradeoffs, software is too. So let's talk about one of those tradeoffs, and what you can do when you start relaxing constraints that you may have never needed anyway. Let's talk about keyless Kafka.Long Live Keyless Kafka!!!

Bio:
Evelyn Bayes is a Team Lead, Customer Success Technical Architect at Confluent, the event-streaming pioneer. Previously she has worked as the APAC Support Engineering manager for Confluent and as an Operations Engineering with Instaclustr where she worked with a range of open-source big-data platforms including Apache Kafka, Apache Cassandra and Apache Spark.
