Streaming Lakehouse to Agentic AI : Kafka, Flink and Iceberg meets MCP

Abstract:
This session provides a high-level recap of the Streaming Lakehouse architecture with Kafka, Flink, and Apache Iceberg as the foundation for modern data platforms. Building on that, we introduce the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and demonstrate how it enables agentic AI capabilities — allowing natural language interactions with Kafka , Flink, and Iceberg . The talk includes a live demo and highlights other use cases, security considerations, and guardrails for bringing agentic intelligence into data platforms.
