About us

Singapore’s only locksport (ethical lockpicking) community. This is legal under Singapore law, as long as hobbyists do not pick locks that do not belong to them.

We are a group of hobbyists, tinkerers, engineers, and security-minded individuals who come together to explore how locks actually work, why they fail, and what that means for real-world security. Through hands-on practice, discussions, and workshops, we demystify everyday locks—padlocks, door locks, safes, and more—using ethical, legal, and responsible methods.

LocksportSG exists to educate, not exploit. All activities are performed on owned locks or with explicit permission, following the global locksport code of ethics. Our goal is to raise awareness, improve understanding of physical security, and encourage better design—not to enable wrongdoing.

Whether you’re picking up a lockpick for the first time or refining advanced techniques, you’ll find a welcoming environment focused on learning, skill-building, and knowledge sharing. We regularly host meetups, beginner sessions, talks, and collaborative practice—no prior experience required.

We have been invited to many security conferences in Asia, and also featured on news media.
