Kia Winslow and JoAnne Babula will talk about their career in biopharma, their passion for longevity, struggles and suggestions for aspiring researchers, founders and longevity investors. This talk is of particular interest to students and young career researchers. Everyone is welcome.

Kia Winslow has a background in physics, tech, and computer science, with a focus on AI and data analytics. As Senior Director of AI and Analytics at BioAge Labs, she works on applying computational methods to drug discovery and aging research. Her experience spans startups, biotech, and leadership roles, where she integrates technology with scientific research.

JoAnne Babula completed her PhD in pharmacology at Indiana University School of Medicine, where her dissertation focused on the use of protein dynamics in small molecule drug design. She has since worked at start-ups and biotech companies on structure-based drug design, early stage preclinical validation, and target discovery. She is currently a target discovery scientist at BioAge, where her work is focused on target identification and validation.
