Terrible Art Night + Fast Friends | Draw, Laugh & Make New Friends | 30 Spots
Chimi's Especial, 70 Collyer Quay, #01-01 Customs House, Singapore 049323, Singapore, SGEver wanted to meet new people without the usual awkwardness of walking into a room full of strangers?
This time, we're making it a little more fun. ๐๐จJoin us on Saturday, 26th September for our first Terrible Art Night + Fast Friends at Chimi's Especial at Customs House, where you'll draw the person you're talking to, chat while you draw, switch partners and meet someone completely new.
And don't worry about your artistic ability.
The worse the portrait, the better. ๐
With just 30 places, this is deliberately a small and interactive event.

Once all 30 places are filled, we cannot accommodate any additional guests, even if you have RSVP'd on Meetup.

Once the hosted experience begins, you'll go through 6 rounds.
Each round lasts 7 minutes:
โ๏ธ Draw Your Partner
Draw the person you're paired with while chatting.
๐ฌ Talk While You Draw
Your host gives you a simple conversation prompt to keep things flowing.
๐ Then Switch!
Move on to someone completely new.
By the end, you'll have met six different people and created six wonderfully terrible portraits. ๐

We'll pause to show off the artwork, take photos with your masterpieces, compare drawings and get some group/table photos.
And yes โ you'll get to keep a portrait as a little memory from the evening.

The structured part is finished.
Grab another drink, check out everyone's artwork and spend time with the people you've enjoyed meeting.

๐ WHY CHIMI'S ESPECIAL?
We're taking Terrible Art Night to Chimi's Especial at Customs House, overlooking Marina Bay.
It's a great Saturday evening setting for relaxing, drawing, chatting and meeting new people.
Chimi's is also open until 11 PM on Saturdays, so you're welcome to continue the evening after the hosted experience.
