The Robotics Operating System (ROS) Singapore Meetup is back with new exciting content! Learn all about ROS and RMF with these two amazing talks:

Talks:
1. Experiences and lessons learned in scaling Open-RMF deployments
Open-RMF has been under rapid development in the past few years. This presentation aims to discuss the experiences and lessons learned in scaling Open-RMF deployments, particularly in the context of a large hospital in Singapore with stringent requirements and serving non-technical end-users (eg. nurses) to orchestrate their automated mobile robot (AMR) operations.
Speaker: Xiyu Oh
Xiyu is a software engineer on the Open Robotics team at Intrinsic, bringing 3 years of experience with a focus on Open-RMF. Together with the Singapore team, she successfully deployed mobile robot fleets in local hospitals to perform delivery tasks across buildings. She is also a key contributor to the project's open-source repositories for implementing fleet adapters and integrating building infrastructure into the Open-RMF framework.

2. RMF Site improvements with Rust and Bevy
Reuben will go through the work on his internship where he worked extensively with Rust and the Bevy game engine to iterate on the RMF Site, enhancing its functionality and performance. In addition to this, he developed a debugging tool for the MAPF Library, ultimately improving the library's usability and efficiency.
Speaker: Reuben Thomas
Reuben a third-year Computer Science student at NUS, currently deepening my knowledge and skills in the robotics field. Recently, I completed an internship at Intrinsic, where I gained hands-on experience and further developed my expertise. During this time, I worked with Rust and the Bevy game engine to enhance the RMF Site and developed a debugging tool for the MAPF Library, significantly improving its functionality and usability.
