Join the ROS Community Hackathon: Maintainer Contribution Day and learn how ROS 2, Gazebo and Open-RMF are developed. Work alongside maintainers and experienced contributors, build projects from source, tackle real issues, submit Pull Requests, and become part of the global robotics community.
Whether you are a student, researcher, software developer or robotics engineer, this is your opportunity to gain hands-on experience contributing to software used by robotics teams around the world. Participants will work on curated beginner-friendly issues and receive guidance throughout the contribution process, making this the ideal starting point for anyone interested in open-source robotics.
