Exploring Humanism : The principles and philosophy of humanism

As we approach World Humanist Day on 21st June, I’ve decided to launch something close to my heart — a monthly series titled “Exploring Humanism.” This isn’t just another talk series. It’s a space for reflection, dialogue, and growth.

A way for us — especially those of us who identify as humanists, secular thinkers, or simply curious souls — to come together and ask deeper questions about how we live, love, and make meaning without relying on the divine.

Why is this important?
As more and more people are stepping away from religion, they are left asking, “Now what?” What guides my values? How do I navigate grief, morality, wealth, or mental health without traditional doctrines? What does it mean to live a good life… as a human, for humanity?

Each month, we’ll dive into a new theme. And we begin this June with: “The Principles and Philosophy of Humanism.”

This journey is not about having all the answers. It’s about starting honest conversations — about life, death, ethics, science, and the future of our shared human experience.
