Travel partners- NOT A MEETING - please read

I am not setting up a meeting but using this event creation as a way to reach out to everyone in this group as the number of members has grown.

1. I no longer have the time to organise meet ups and wanted to close the group but decided to keep it open as it seemed to be a group that had many interested in it.
2. I kept it open as I felt individuals looking for travel partners would be able to access a large group of people who have the same desire and a kind friend allowed me to use her account to maintain this with no cost.
   3 . To take advantage of this - do consider taking the initiative to form a group compatible
   To your own travel styles and preferences. I will describe mine later below
3. I myself am looking to form a travel group and have formed one that currently comprises about 15 individuals. We have our first small group looking to do a trip together . I should say building such a group isn’t easy as it might be difficult to organise a trip because of timing differences or because the destination may not be interesting to everyone .
   5 I am hoping to have the group get up to a size of about 30 - man /woman - but ideally with travel preference as follows

Prefer independent travel ( drive own vehicle) or small group tours (for certain destinations for safety considerations )
Accommodation - mid/ comfortable - sgd 150- 400 per room night - depending on destination
Well travelled so likely to travel to less
familiar destinations but happy to have group members who may want to visit the more familiar places since I don’t expect to join every trip planned by the group as people can form smaller groups together.
Interest- engaging the local people/ local culture, outdoors (some hiking) but not multi day treks unless necessary to get to a desired destination, walking and exploring where possible. Some museums , architecture, art, history but not intense about it
