Singapore Street Shots walks Joo Chiat Road

We will meet up at 4:00 PM in front of the 7 Eleven store 970 Geylang Road, #01-12 Tristar Complex. (corner of Geylang Rd & Joo Chiat Rd) and end our Photo walk at 7:00-7:30PM with dinner and a few drinks at 328 Katong Laksa restaurant, which is located at 51 E Coast Rd, Singapore 428770
Some of the most stunning cultural & colorful photos of historical buildings/shophouses will be at the Intersections along Joo Chiat Rd & Marshell lane, Koon Seng Rd & Tembeling Rd, Ceylon lane, Joo Chiat lane... Don't worry I'll point them out, plus show you some ways to compose these incredible buildings as I have photographed them many times.

Lets walk Joo Chiat Road and create some spectacular photos of the historic architecture in Singapore's Geylang & Katong areas of eastern Singapore.
Starting down Joo Chiat Rd we approach the Intersection of Joo Chiat Rd, Crane Rd & Joo Chiat Place the Architecture on each corner is Stunning, colorful and screams Singapore culture.
Next on our way (about 100 mtr) is the Dragon Palace Restaurant, on the corner of Joo Chiat lane & Joo Chiat Rd. This is one of my favorite Buildings (You'll have to see it to believe it). At this point we'll detour down Joo Chiat lane to Tembeling Rd to photograph the beautiful Kuan Im Tng Temple (Joo Chiat) Located at 62 Tembeling Rd, Singapore 423586....
Continuing down Joo Chiat Rd (100 Mtr) we come to another stunning corner Shophouse on Ceylon lane and on the left is the beautiful ibis Hotel, which has a European style.
The next 150 Mtr's we see some beautiful colorful Shophouses before we reach the Intersection of Koon Seng Rd & Joo Chiat Rd, this is the most incredible display of cultural Architecture as you will find in Singapore.

INTERMISSION BREAK****

Here we will stop for a short break and a cool drink (20-30 min.) at the Tin Yeang Restaurant (300 Joo Chiat Rd, Singapore 427551, The corner of Joo Chiat & Koon Seng Rd.)...

RESUME OUR PHOTO-WALK***

We'll detour along Koon Seng Rd a short distance to photograph the Famous Peranakan Houses ending at Tembeling Rd.
From here Joo Chiat Rd runs about 700 Mtr's to East Coast Rd, then 200 Mtr's more to 328 Katong Laksa Where we end our Photo walk with a nice bowl of Laksa and a few drinks...
