About us
This group was started to create a great community in the Bucks and Berks areas. Attending our events is a great way to make new sociable friends and to maybe even meet that someone special along the way if you're currently single. The socials are open to everyone and you don't need to be single to join. However, we do only want people who are single for the dating events.
You will also see events listed on our Meet Up by Toyin from Get a Social Life who puts up some interesting events also not within the area such as holidays abroad, weekend breaks and some classy events in London.
Hope to see you all soon to start social networking locally.
Best wishes Julie Davies

SINGLES DINING SPEED DATING 40+ Sat Sept 26th in Beaconsfield
Join us for the best introduction service we have thought of in 32 years of running singles events. Please only RSVP once you have texted through to 07948 417416 and booked.
We have 8 tables of 6 sitting man, woman, man, woman. Guests arrive at 6.30pm to sit at 7pm with nobody missing on the tables. The food is served to the tables at 7pm and we allow 20 minutes on the first table to give the men a chance to eat something. We then start to move the men every 10 minutes with their plates until they have sat on all 8 tables.
The Food on Each Table will be :
Margherita pizzas, house salads & truffle & parmesan chips
After the speed dating guests can continue chatting at the bar to get back together with anyone of interest. This venue has a fully stocked bar with beer on tap so it is good for mixing after the intro service.
Tickets are ÂŁ29.50. Please text Julie on 07948 417416 for the account to book. Send full name, area you live and year of birth. You can book for someone else but we need their details too as everyone is registered who attends to maintain a safe environment for people to meet.
You can also book via our website https://www.single-and-social-bucks.co.uk but it is ÂŁ3 dearer that way as includes the PayPal charge.
Hope to see you all soon for a fun evening.
Best Regards Julie Davies https://www.meetup.com/single-and-social-parties-events-bucks-berks

Day Trip To Dublin & Guinness Storehouse Experience
Location not specified yetGet ready for an awesome day trip to the vibrant city of Dublin! Join us in person to explore stunning streets, enjoy local vibes, and make unforgettable memories. Whether you’re into history, good eats, or just chilling with cool company, this trip’s got you covered. Don’t miss out on a fun-filled day packed with laughs, sights, and great times!
After a successful day trip to Geneva for the day, we head over to Dublin which is Ireland's capital and largest city, situated on the east coast along the River Liffey.
It combines over 1,000 years of history with a vibrant modern culture, making it one of Europe's most popular city-break destinations.
Dublin is known for:
Friendly locals and a lively atmosphere
Historic landmarks and Georgian architecture
Traditional Irish music and pubs
Literary heritage, including writers such as James Joyce, Oscar Wilde, and W. B. Yeats
Attractions such as Trinity College Dublin, Dublin Castle, and Temple Bar
The city centre is compact and walkable, making it ideal for a day trip from London.Visited years ago with the group for a weekend, but we were located far away from the city, let's navigate this city together and have a fun day out of London
This trip includes entry to the classic Guinness Storehouse Experience. We will enjoy a self-guided tour through seven immersive floors and finish with a Guinness or Guinness 0.0 at the Gravity bar. Am not really a drinker, last time i visited i had my Guinness mixed with black current which was very refreshing, was only able to manage half a pint, 1 pint was too much for me.
Guinness Storehouse is Dublin's most visited tourist attraction and one of the world's best-known stouts.
The Storehouse is a seven-storey interactive visitor experience built around a giant pint-glass-shaped atrium. It was founded in 1759 when Arthur Guinness signed a famous 9,000-year lease at St. James's Gate Brewery in Dublin. The brewery grew into one of Ireland's most significant businesses and became a symbol of Irish culture around the world.
This trip is ideal for solo travellers, couples, groups and families, invite a friend
