About us

This group was started to create a great community in the Bucks and Berks areas. Attending our events is a great way to make new sociable friends and to maybe even meet that someone special along the way if you're currently single. The socials are open to everyone and you don't need to be single to join. However, we do only want people who are single for the dating events.

You will also see events listed on our Meet Up by Toyin from Get a Social Life who puts up some interesting events also not within the area such as holidays abroad, weekend breaks and some classy events in London.

Join us for our BIG Singles Party at Harleyford, SL7 2SP in Marlow Sat Feb 7th with Max 200. Already 187 tickets sold by 31/1. Just 12 places left for men & 1 place for a for a lady.
(we have now opened bookings for our next Big Spring Singles Party on Sat April 25th at Birds Hill Golf Club in Maidenhead. It's £29.50 for the dining speed dating and party afterwards with DJ. We can only take the first 24 of each sex for that part of the evening. We then have the party only alternative from 8.30pm with introductions at the bar at 8.15pm)

We feel the Harleyford venue will a great atmosphere with a party with DJ John Johnny until Midnight for our Valentines party.

Anyone booked by someone else also needs to make a profile on Meet Up and post RSVP as attending on this group https://www.meetup.com/single-and-social-parties-events-bucks-berks and post their own RSVP as attending by the date of the event. You may be counted in the overall number but you really do need to appear on the Photowall with the RSVP listing by Feb 7th so that others attending can find your profile the day after the event.

We will introduce in mixed groups at the bar at 8.15pm for the party starts at 8.30pm and are happy to forward on texts for you the next day if you find the profile on the Meet Up and give me the name of the person you would like to stay in touch with. This is assuming you haven't already exchanged numbers on the night. You need to say something to remind the person who you are and add your name and your mobile at the end of the message. It's even ok if you see someone you like the look of who you didn't manage to talk to. You can still forward a message via me and maybe you might hear back from the other person. It's a live event but you could view it a bit like online dating too with the photowall.

We are asking for smart/casual dress code so are asking for no jeans, t shirts, jumpers or trainers. We won't be insisting on men wearing suits for this one but hopefully you understand what we mean by smart/casual guys.
