About us
Are you tired of doing things alone? Do you love doing things outdoors? This group is mainly for folks over 50. For hikes and walks I encourage you to join my other group, Hudson Valley Relaxed Paced Hikers & Walkers. I have been double posting hikes and walks but that will stop soon and they will just be on the HVRP side.
***NEW*** I am opening the group up to married folks now. This group will focus on dining on Wednesdays (mostly), and different things during the week or on Saturdays.
We are a four-season group focusing on different events in a relaxed setting, a group that is welcoming and warm. Many wonderful friendships have grown over time among our members. Many of our activities are focusing on dining and fun things right now, but there are other things to have fun with.
I am limiting group sizes for some dining events these days, especially if it is a new restaurant. Sorry!!!
Join with like-minded friends looking for fun and friendship. Our main focus is adults having fun together.
I'm really looking forward to getting outdoors as much as possible, and have lots of cool outdoor things to do. We will also occasionally enjoy indoor activities (mainly during the winter), like bowling.
This group is open to all people. Activities are for adults only.
IMPORTANT: New people: Your RSVP is very important to me. If you cannot make an event that you have signed up for, PLEASE change your RSVP. If you repeatedly no-show I will remove you from the group. Sorry, if you sign up please show up. :-)
All events are at your own risk. For some outdoor activities you will need to sign a Liability Waiver to participate. Please bring your sense of adventure. Events carry a $2 Meetup fee. Please send me your cell number, I'll return with mine. For friends with kayaks, check out my other group, Newburgh Area Kayakers. :-)
