About us

Dating & Mingling Group
This group is about giving adults a chance to take dating into the real world—have fun, meet new people, make connections, and see where things may go.
Many dating websites and apps can be filled with scammers, people who aren't ready to meet in person, or expensive subscriptions. This group provides an opportunity to meet people in a group setting, socialize, and see whether there is a genuine connection.
Please remember: This is not an official dating site or dating service. The app and hostess do not perform background checks, and we do not personally know the people who attend these events.
For that reason, your personal safety is your responsibility. Please use common sense, trust your instincts, and follow dating safety practices.
🛡️ Your Safety Comes First

  • Do not share personal contact information or social media handles. Take your time getting to know someone before deciding what information you are comfortable sharing.
  • Arrange your own transportation. Drive yourself, use a rideshare, or take public transportation. Never depend on a new connection for a ride.
  • Do not let a date pick you up or drop you off at home.
  • Tell someone you trust about your plans. Let them know where you're going, when you expect to arrive, and when you expect to leave.
  • Share information about your date with someone you trust. This may include their name, phone number, screenshots of your conversations, and a photo if available.
  • Keep personal information private. Do not share your home address, exact workplace, financial information, or other sensitive details.
  • Consider using a temporary phone number or messaging app before giving someone your primary phone number.
  • Keep information about where you live and work general. You can share your profession or general area without revealing your exact workplace, street address, or other identifying details.
  • Be mindful of identifying information. Avoid wearing or carrying items that reveal your full name, home neighborhood, workplace, or other personal details.

🍹 Protect Your Drink

  • Never leave your food or drink unattended.
  • If you lose sight of your drink, get a new one.
  • Do not accept an open drink from someone you don't know or haven't watched being prepared.
  • Stay sober enough to remain alert and aware of your surroundings.

🚩 Trust Your Gut
If someone makes you uncomfortable, pressures you, ignores your boundaries, or gives you a bad feeling, leave.
You do not owe anyone an explanation, a second chance, or politeness at the expense of your safety.
If you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, ask staff, security, or someone you trust for help.
You are always allowed to leave.
🏠 Keep Dates Public

  • Do not go to someone's home after meeting them for the first time.
  • Do not invite a new connection to your home.
  • Keep early interactions in public places and group settings until you have established trust.

🤝 Be Respectful
We're all adults, so please be astute, respectful, and aware of boundaries.

  • Don't bring unnecessary drama.
  • Don't be a creep.
  • Respect personal space and boundaries.
  • Take "no" for an answer.
  • Don't pressure anyone for contact information, a date, a kiss, physical contact, or anything else.
  • Respect someone's decision if they are not interested.
  • Remember that attending an event does not mean someone is interested in dating you or getting to know you romantically.

Our goal is to create an environment where everyone can have fun, meet people, and feel comfortable and respected.
Be safe. Be respectful. Trust your instincts. And remember—you never have to stay in a situation that makes you uncomfortable.
