2025 Spring-Summer-Fall TENNIS Startup

As previously stated we are waiting on the refurbishment of our regular courts near the Jacque Lemaire hockey arena adjacent to the Lasalle hospital. When this has been completed , we will begin the Monday/Wednesday/Friday evening's 7pm tennis events and we now have the coordinators for all three of these evenings. Players interested in playing on one or more of these evening's will be required to email or text that coordinator of their interest in playing before 5pm of that day. Everyone will receive a list of the coordinators with their email and phone numbers once we get going...
Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 09:30 am have just started up on alternative court facilities in the Lasalle area. This coming Thursday the group will play at the following location in Lasalle:
Park Quellette in Lasalle, corner of Serre St. and Giguere , one block east of Shevchenko , gps - 150 Serre street - courts are situated beside that building. Beautiful courts - no text or email required - just show up if interested - 09:30am start time.
Just a reminder : We are a social tennis group of all calibers , its no cost - drop in tennis - play at your convenience , outdoor facilities only, and we are here until October , when we then switch over to our Winter activity - Sunday Curling out of the Montreal West Curling Club.

Beginners please read the following:
Our tennis group starts up in May and everyone is most welcome to join our group. As we do with our curling group, we will take novices in to the tennis group, and will teach them the game, over the summer months. To get started, purchase a racquet. Start off with a cheaper one and you can then upgrade later, if you wish. Very Important: In the spring, find a wall and practice hitting off that wall to acquire your eye/hand coordination. There will be tennis on different days starting in the spring which you can attend at your convenience. There is no cost to play in our group. I have over 150 people registered for the tennis, and they will receive via email all updates regarding the tennis group. If anyone wants to be included on that list , just send me a email to spasource@bell.net giving me your full name.
