What Is Pickleball
Pickleball you ask?
It's an OVERSIZED ping pong! Played on a badminton sized court with a tennis sized net.
Seniors love the social aspects and the ability to stay active and fit in towns and retirement villages in every state.Pickleball rules

- CURLING Clinic - No Cost - Re-scheduled to Sunday, October 13th-Montreal West Curling Club, Montréal-Ouest, QC
Good Morning
I have been advised by the Curling Club that the main dehumidifier for the curling ICE is not working properly, and the ice is in very bad shape, and just too dangerous to play on. So, the board of directors of the club have made the decision to cancel , for safety concerns, all curling events, over this weekend and perhaps into the week. They will be opening the club on Sunday , October 13th, and have advised we can re-schedule our curling clinic to that date, if we so wish. I realize its a holiday weekend , but we are squeezed for dates , and we need to start our season on October 20th.
Therefore the clinic will be held on Sunday , October 13th , from 11am to 1pm. I will update all the postings for this event on the meetup groups!
Apologies for any inconvenience incurred
James - Player/spare coordinator

We will teach you the amazing game of CURLING!Important Note:
Most individuals joining our league from the meetup groups are novices, and we are very pleased to have you in our Sunday League. So here is a suggestion to get you started , and to improve your game QUICKLY!
Join the Sunday league spare list, and we will bring you in to spare as much as possible. When spots open up in the league you will be brought in as a regular player, if you so wish. Want to ACCELERATE your curling skillsets quickly? Join the Monday night inhouse instructional league for beginners. The instructors will teach you how to play the game properly, avoiding all the usual mistakes, that plague many of the curlers today. I highly recommend joining this instructional league. You will not regret it! See following for more information on this excellent league.
Members looking to join the Instructional League on Monday nights at the Montreal West Curling Club should contact Jim Doyle (jdoyle@enviromark.ca) or Debra Bruman (debra.bruman@gmail.com) to sign up. The price for the Instructional league for the year is $430.21 and allows players to spare, once they are ready, within the regular MWCC leagues.
