WEST ISLAND MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS WALK SUNDAY MAY 27 at 10 am Hello Everyone This year our we are asking our members to show support and get behind the WEST ISLAND MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS WALK MAY 27 Every spring more than 30,000 Canadians come together in their communities to fundraise for and participate in MS Walk. They take a stand against MS and support those who are affected by multiple sclerosis. Take the next step and join us as we work to build a more hopeful future for Canadians living with MS. NOTE: There are several MS Walks on this day. We are going to focus on the West Island event but you are more than welcome to join oa walk that is convenient to your area. Get all of our names on the Fundraising Honor Roll no matter how much or how little you donate. Event Details ________________________________________ Location: École secondaire des Sources : 2900, Lake Street, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, H9B 2P1 Check-in time: 8:30 am Start time: 10:00 am Route length(s): 5 km, 10 km May 27 The theme of the West Island MS Walk this year is baseball. Participants are invited to wear a cap or jersey from their favourite baseball team. SUPPORT THE M.J. PLEBON TEAM! This is a story about M.J. Plebon, a father who has a daughter who has MS. Last year M.J raised $5,000 this year is goal is $50,000 Why I’m walking to end MS Canada has the highest rate of MS in the world. Every day three more Canadians are diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, an unpredictable illness that affects vision, balance, memory, and mobility. On Friday, April 7th, 2017, my 19-year old daughter was diagnosed with MS. Your support means Canadian families who are affected by this disease do not have to face MS alone. So I am once again walking the 10km route. My goal for 2018 is to raise $50,000. You can donate directly to my page with a credit card or through PayPal. Go to my page and donate today. Then I ask you to visit my FB page and do three things: • "Like" my page. • "Follow" me • If you can donate whatever you can. Go to
