CRAZY FOR YOU DON BLUTH theater $37

CRAZY FOR YOU synopsis goes like this: City Slicker falls for a hometown girl in the zany, ebullient, romantic comedy featuring Cowboys, showgirls, high – energy production numbers, and a glorious score from George and Ira Gershwin.  It tells the story of young New York banker Bobby Child, who was sent to Deadrock Nevada, to foreclose on a rundown theater. In Deadrock, Bobby Falls for spunky Polly Baker, the theater owner‘s daughter. But Polly takes an instant dislike to the City Slicker, so Bobby vows through cunning razzamatazz and a hilarious case of mistaken identity to win Polly‘s heart and save the theater.

Memorable Gershwin tunes from the score include “I got rhythm”, “Naughty Baby, “ “They can’t take that away from me”, “Embraceable you”, “But not for me”, “Nice work if you can get it”, and “Someone to watch over me”.

There will be carpools for anyone who’d like to go provided of course I get a few drivers . Please comment if you will drive or if you need a ride. Coincidentally it is a 39 minute drive from Peoria.

Payment is due before your RSVP becomes permanent. Just rsvping will not save a spot. $37 is the group rate, ( 6 or more) and that includes fees as well. Please use Zelle or Paypal only. You can also mail a check if you text me for my address. I only have 17 tickets but may be able to get more if we act quickly..

Don Bluth has concessions- basically water and some junk food if you are interested? This is a very small intimate theater. 🎭
