CIAO WALLY 👋

Greetings 39ers, for those of you who have not heard about Wally , let me update you. He has moved to Oklahoma to be nearer one of his daughters. He’s 94 , so that in itself made it a good idea for her to move him to be able to keep a more watchful eye on him.

It all happend so fast we did not have time for a farewell party, though there is a rumor there could be one in February when they return to sell the house? In the meantime , I thought it would be nice to collect Goodbye/ See you later cards and mail them off to him at his new address . I thought he would get a kick out of that.

I will purchase several cards and take them with me to every Meetup that I go to in between now and this posting’s date- Thursday, January 15. I plan on sending off a few at a time to his new Assisted Living place, once he gets settled . It’s always nice to get mail there. If you’d like to buy or make one of your own, please do that and get it to me so I can mail it off once I get his new address. Text me for my address if you want to mail something to me for him.

Any of your cards can be dropped off at any Meetup on or before January 15, so just RSVP if you anticipate dropping a card off January 8 or 15 at Bull Shooters, or elsewhere .

There are pictures of him in the photo album of this posting. A few are reminders of how we used to tease him about broccoli 🥦 which he hates!
