Plates and Mates is a curated dinner series to make new foodie friends in Fort Wayne. Meet new people, try new local spots, & enjoy great convos.
Wine tasting and shared charcuterie plate for the table is included in your ticket price. Other food and drinks available for purchase

### AGENDA:

• 6:30pm Arrive and find your table
• 6:30-7:30pm Wine tasting and shared charcuterie plate with your table
• 7:30-8:00pm Drinks at the bar with everyone (optional)

This is an intimate, curated dinner series that brings restaurant recommendations to life. It’s all about supporting local restaurants, discovering new places across the city, and meeting people who love trying new things just as much as you do.

Each dinner matches strangers with shared interests at one of our favorite local spots, turning solo plans into a night of discovery, delicious food, and great conversation.

### THIS Month’s RESTAURANT:

Vinland Reserve was inspired by the northeast coastal region of North America hailed as a rich source of grapes and once explored by Vikings. At Vinland Reserve, an elevated experience welcomes you with exceptional wine and food in a serene setting for all to enjoy!

### HOW IT WORKS:

1. Sign up for the dinner to reserve your spot. It’s $10 to reserve your spot, which covers the curation and includes a charcuterie plate for the table and wine tasting.
2. All food and beverage orders during dinner are paid for individually.
3. Fill out a brief profile (so we can match you with humans that you have similarities with)
4. Wait for your restaurant and table info. You will be notified 1-2 hours from the dinner date.
5. Show up to the dinner. Each table with consist of 5-6 strangers. Make new friends with conversation prompts and ice breakers, then pay for your own bill.
6. After dinner, stick around and socialize with the other tables, and view compatibility match scores with everyone.

Known for his popular Tex-Mex food truck-Sol Kitchen, Jerry Perez has become a staple in Fort Wayne’s culinary scene. His love for street tacos began as a child in Laredo, Texas. He started selling his brand of tacos from a cart in 2012 on the street corners of downtown Fort Wayne. The YLNI Barr Street Farmers Market was where his culinary creations took flight. He quickly made friends with the farmers and loved utilizing locally grown/raised ingredients in his preparations. While Perez embraces the food of many cultures, strong influences circle back to his Mexican and Texan roots. With an emphasis on fresh, local, non-GMO and organic ingredients, Perez has partnered with local farms and businesses, including Wood Farms, Yellow Cup Coffee Roasters, and several others to create his menu of playful, yet elevated fare.
