The Settles Bridge Unit of Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area extends nearly five miles along the river, yet access by car and foot amounts to a parking area and about a mile or so of riverside trails. So we will start at Settles Bridge Gwinnett County Park (Suwanee) and hike to Settles Bridge CRNRA...and yes there is a bridge.
This route will total 5 miles and does involve some hill climbing. Some forest trails, some nice river views, and we do actually see Settles Bridge. No fee to park, and there is a restroom at lot.
No lunch at Cue's after.
