We'll start at the South Park entrance off of Trout Place Road as its probably a shorter drive for most everyone. We'll loop a little at the South park entrance then walk along the road (pine bark or road) and a more hilly section to the North park entrance doing loop after loop with hills and finish at Buford Dam Road near the boat dock. There is a bathrooms here. THE BRIDGE IS FIXED..OR SHALL I SAY A NEW BRIDGE. We will go as far as the bathrooms where we can stop to enjoy the boat ramp and have a snack to eat. Then we will hook back up and do a straight line back along the hooch on out way back. The straight line is 2 miles X2 and the looping adds 2-3 more.
Free parking along a neighborhood. It doesn't look like a parking lot but it is. pull all the way up and stack the cars on the right side of the road. No car pool.
The trout fishery is right there and we can visit it after. This is where the fish for the Hooch comes from. It is a fascinating place.
