Let’s treat ourselves to something truly special—six days exploring the magic of Australia’s heart, with a mix of unforgettable experiences, relaxed time to soak it all in, and wonderful company every step of the way.
We’ll be flying into Uluru on Easter Saturday, arriving mid afternoon. Once we’ve settled into our lovely Desert Gardens rooms, we'll have a little time to freshen up before the evening's highlight.
On our very first night, we'll be transported into the desert evening for the Wintjiri Wiru Sunset Dinner - native-inspired dishes and premium wines, followed by a breathtaking drone, light and laser show that brings ancient stories to life across the night sky with Uluru as the backdrop.

Day 3: Kings Canyon and Outback Panoramas Full Day Tour
For those keen on a big adventure, this full-day tour with AAT Kings takes you into one of the Red Centre's most dramatic landscapes. It's an early start, but the reward is rugged canyon walls, sweeping outback views, and a chance to experience this iconic location. You'll return by late afternoon in time to relax and join us for dinner.
Day 4: More Wish List Experiences
These flex days are about having a special slice of time that's just yours, while still sharing in the fun of our group journey. It's your chance to tick off something personal - whether that's a helicopter flight, a camel ride through the red dunes, or a guided base walk around Uluru.

🌟 Team Days Together
Even if you don't book an extra tour, there'll be no shortage of shared adventures - we'll enjoy the on-site cultural experiences (bush foods, didgeridoo workshops, local art galleries, chat with the locals etc.) stroll out to nearby lookouts for sweeping desert views, and visit the Camel Farm for some outback fun. And if the mood takes us, we might even jump on the local shuttle to the Outback Hotel for a casual game of billiards and a sip of something cool. These two flex days are designed so everyone can shape them to their own interests - some may head off on a Day tour, while others enjoy the local experiences at an easier pace. Either way, there's time to connect, share stories, and make the most of being in this remarkable landscape.
We'll also have time to stop by the local IGA for brekky, snack, or light lunch supplies - simple touches that make our days out exploring even easier.

🧾 Refunds & Conditions:
- * To secure your spot, a $400 non-refundable deposit is required within 10 days of RSVP (or earlier if your work leave is confirmed).
- If the deposit transfer is not received within 10 days of RSVP, your RSVP may be changed to ‘Not Going’ to allow others the opportunity to attend.
* A second payment of $1200 is due within 30 days of RSVP .
* Final Balance is due by 4 January 2026.
RSVPs close 4 January 2026 (5pm) or earlier if 7 confirmed rsvp's are attained. (maximum 10 attendees)
- If the minimum of 7 participants is not reached by 4 January 2026, the trip will not proceed and all payments (including the $400 deposit) will be refunded in full.
No RSVPs can be accepted after 4 February 2026 .
Cancellations before 4 January 2026 will receive a refund less the $400 non-refundable deposit.
Cancellations after 4 January 2026 : I will endeavour to resell your place, but this cannot be guaranteed. If your spot resells, a $550 cancellation/transfer fee (includes the initial $400 deposit) will be deducted from any refund due, along with any non-recoverable supplier costs (eg. name-change fees, National Park passes). Refunds (less fees) are processed after confirmation of the transfer from the new participant . If your spot does not resell, no refund is available, except under the goodwill/emergencies clause below.
- Goodwill / emergencies: For genuine emergencies (eg serious illness, bereavement) a partial refund of up to 40% may be considered, subject to recoverable costs from suppliers. Documentation may be requested.
Resale/transfer cut-off: 4 February 2026 . After this date, no resales or refunds will be processed, except for goodwill/emergencies as outlined above.
- Flights: Once issued, flights follow airline policy. Airlines typically offer a 12-month credit to re-bookings - as long as you rebook within that frame, your travel can extend beyond the 12 months (fare differences and fees may apply).
- Changes to itinerary: If activities/timings change due to weather, safety, or supplier factors, we'll substitute the nearest equivalent available. No refunds for itinerary adjustments.
Admin notes:
- Reselling a ticket is a courtesy, not an entitlement.
- Refunds are returned to your nominated bank account.
- If you resign/leave the group, the same cancellation/transfer terms still apply.- Only members of our Singles Travel and Outings - Meetup Group (Brisbane) may attend. Guests or +1s are not permitted.
- Only organiser-approved members may purchase a resold ticket.
- Rooming options: Both Own Room and Twin Share prices are offered - please select your preference when RSVPing. If a Twin Share room is booked but only one person occupies it, the Own Room rate may apply.
Gents are required to book an Own Room, unless another gent RSVPs and both agree to Twin Share.
- A valid credit card and photo ID will be required at accommodation check-in for room security and incidentals.
- With the exception of included meals, all other meals and drinks are at your own expense.- Flex Day Options (eg Kings Canyon, helicopter flights, camel rides, base walks) are not included in the trip price and will involve an additional cost if you choose to add them.
- If you are prone to motion sickness, please bring appropriate medication with you.
- Please arrive on time - late arrival may void your ticket with no refund.
- As with all our adventures, No Smoking/Vapour and No Mobile phoning/texting/IT while in company as is considered discourteous.
- In the rare event of significantly disruptive behaviour that impacts the group's experience, the host reserves the right to discontinue that member's participation. No refunds will be provided in such cases.
- Travel insurance, as always, is strongly recommended.
