Calling all lovers of paddocks, peace, and shared moments in the great outdoors! This special country weekend brings together everything we love - scenic drives, crackling fires, cows and alpacas, heaps of farm animals, and cosy cottages with a valley view. This is a two-night stay on a working farm near Lamington National Park, where we've secured four country cottages for our group. With a mix of own rooms and 2 twin-share rooms available, this getaway blends comfort, charm and authentic farm life and a weekend of fun friends to share it all with.
Expect hands-on animal encounters, sweeping views and relaxed meal times on the verandah. From alpaca and goat walks to buggy rides through the paddocks, this weekend is packed with memorable moments and good old-fashioned country hospitality!

🌳 DAY ONE – VINEYARD LUNCH & SUNSET VIEWS
I'll be collecting our Country Farm Weekend team members in our comfy 12-seater Hiace (with trailer in tow) from one of the following designated meet spots: Nudgee Train Station, a private residence in Eagleby (for off-street parking $7 per day), or Beenleigh Train Station.
We’ll make our way to the farm with a lunch stop at O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards. Lunch is included in your weekend package (main meal valued at $30). If you'd like to join the wine paddle tasting, please message me and add $25 to your weekend transfer.
After lunch, we’ll continue our drive to the farmstay property, where we’ll check in and settle into our cosy cottages before heading out for a gentle group walk to a stunning sunset lookout. Then we’ll enjoy a hearty Nat-style dinner together and gather around the campfire to toast marshmallows and share stories.

🐮 DAY TWO - ANIMAL ADVENTURES & FARM FRESH AIR.🌄
We’ll start the morning with a short drive to the Lost World region where we’ll enjoy an easy 2km walk into Lamington National Park. This is a relaxed, self-paced walk along a well-marked path.
Back at the farm, it’s time for the fun stuff:

• Guided buggy ride with the farmhand
• Animal feeding experience (including a bucket of extra feed!)
• Alpaca walk – for every two members, one alpaca will be shared on the walk
• Goat walk – also shared one between every two members

Lunch time is a relaxed Nat-style spread on the verandah. Another shared dinner awaits in the evening, followed by a campfire catch-up.

🐐 DAY THREE – SLOW STARTS & RIVER STROLLS We'll begin with a peaceful morning walk down to the Albert River, which winds through the farm's lush landscape. After our slow and social start to the day, we’ll check-out of our accommodation and enjoy one last wander through the property to revisit the farm animals, or simply enjoy the countryside before heading home, full of fresh air and fond memories.

👋 NOTE FOR OUR GENTLEMAN MEMBERS: You are always welcome to RSVP for our events, including this one! As this trip uses shared cottage accommodation, we simply require a minimum of two gents to attend in order to allocate appropriate rooming. REFUNDS AND CONDITIONS:
- Please ensure your Meetup.com email notifications are turned ON.. I send important pre-event messages (usually one week prior and the evening before the event) These emails include: Your confirmed meeting spot/ What to bring / Group rules / Any last minute updates.
If you don't receive this email, please check your junk/spam folder and notify me ASAP. (Sometimes members either don't read it or later tell me they didn't receive it, which causes avoidable confusion).
- As with all our adventures, No Smoking/Vapour and No Mobile phoning/texting/it while in company as is considered discourteous
Please bring all medications which you would normally take at home
- If you are prone to Motion sickness, please bring appropriate medication with you
- Meals, unless noted as ✔in description above, are your own expense
- Failure to arrive on time will void the ticket entirely with no refunds
- RSVP's close 1 August 2025, or when minimum 8 RSVPs are claimed, whichever comes first.
- Minimum attendees 8 : Maximum attendees 12
- If minimum RSVPs are not attained by closing date 1 August 2025, a full refund (less $30 admin fee) is provided.

- Reselling tickets is a courtesy, not an entitlement
- Refunds directed to your bank account only

- Tickets may not be sold after 14 August 2025
- If you resign or are removed from our meetup group, the Cancellation/Amendment Fee still applies ; even if the adventure has not yet commenced
- Tickets may not be passed on to another person without prior approval
- In the event of any changes or amendments to the adventure or itinerary, or reallocation of hosts, there are no refunds.
- Limited Onboard Drinks are mine for sharing
- Motion sickness: If you suffer from motion sickness, please bring any necessary travel mediation to keep the journey enjoyable for yourself and others.
- In the very rare event that a member's behaviour is significantly disruptive and impacts the group's experience, the host reserves the right to discontinue that member's participation in the tour. This includes any unused portions of the ticket, such as return transportation. Unfortunately, no refunds will be provided in these instances, and the member will be responsible for their own return arrangements and associated costs.
