Welcome to Singles in Dallas, a group dedicated to fostering meaningful connections among singles in the Dallas area.

Hello everyone! My name is Eunice and I was previously a member and got an email in May that this group was about to disappear because it needed an Organizer. I accidentally clicked on something and before I knew it, I became the new Organizer.

A little bit about me, I am in several meetup groups and Singles groups and love to do fun things and explore our great city. I like attending live concerts, dancing, traveling, eating (both fine dining and holes in the wall) and a good cocktail.
Sometimes there are things I want to do that aren't posted in any of the meetup groups that I belong to so I thought it would be nice where I could post events I want to attend and maybe other people may want to as well.
Occasionally, I may cross-post events being held by other meetup groups if I plan to attend them, so in case you're not a member you can join my group.
I am open to suggestions from everyone so if you see something fun that you want to go to, let me know and I will try to put it on the calendar.
I do work full-time and stay pretty busy so most events will likely be held on weekends and will depend on my schedule.
I also plan to organize some trips for solo travelers in the near future so watch out for that.

A few rules for the group:
This isn't a dating site so please do not message anybody if you haven't met them in person.

When you join, you need to have a clear picture of your face so I can recognize you at events.

Also, I will not allow guests to join. I find that people invite guests and then the guests don't show up. So if you have a guest that would like to attend an event, they must join the group with a clear picture of their face.

Please don't post any events or promote a business on meetup without going through me.
Anybody who doesn't get approval from me will be removed from the group.

For dinner reservations, if you don't show up or if you cancel last minute without a good excuse, you will be removed from the group.
