About us
Dearest Friends,
Imagine dating in a world where you can feel free to be who you are, be attracted to whoever you’re attracted to, and even have your feelings returned. We are creating that world together right here and now with Singles Mingle LGBTQ. When there isn’t always a place for queer people trying to find love, we make one because we care.
We are a branch of Singles Mingle and will operate similarly to it. This means we will aim to have at least a few events each month at local bars, breweries, or restaurants. This is in no way a replacement of Singles Mingle, it is simply a joint effort to hold a safe and welcoming environment for the LGBTQ community to get together and mingle as well in a more compatible setting. This group exists to support the LGBTQ community in its dating endeavors by creating genuine opportunities for members to find their person. We’re aiming for social and casual vibes. Event by event, we will mold and form this new community together into one of acceptance, hope, and action.
We welcome members with any form of same-sex attraction regardless of their age or gender, and we hope this space we create together continues to grow and thrive. Depending on the amount of members and RSVPs we get, we’re looking at having in-person events very similar to those of Singles Mingle. We are open to feedback and ideas, as we’re all in this together.
Some ground rules that we operate based on are showing respect for one another, being sincere in your pursuits, and staying open to the experience. Needless to say, there is no tolerance for bullies. So, if you see something or hear something, please say something for the sake of everyone else.
Donations to help this group run smoothly are always welcome. Details about that to come, as this is not our main focus right now. Right now, we’re trying to launch a group that is accepting and welcoming with as few barriers as possible for you to come out and see what we can do together. Eventually as the group grows, we may require RSVPs for certain events to ensure that all attendees are intentional and sincere about the process. For now, please come on out and be a part of our budding community!

Singles Mingle LGBTQ+ @ Fuego in Downtown Sunnyvale
Fuego, 140 s. Murphy street, Sunnyvale, CA, USHey Singles 👋🏻 !
This time, we’ll be meeting in Downtown Sunnyvale for a fun night at Fuego Sports Bar and Club! Come kick off your weekend with us. If you haven’t been before, Fuego is a great spot to unwind after a long work week. Grab a strong drink 🍷, order some Latin food 🌯, watch the game ⚾️, and enjoy some live music 🎶. Live music starts at 5:30pm on Fridays. We’ll be there from 6pm-9pm, so come join the party anytime!
The event is free of charge, and no RSVP is required. Just show up and have a good time 🥳. We’ll be downstairs on the first floor in a section roped off just for us in the dining area by the bar. I’ll be there at a round table with a rainbow light 🌈 ready to check you in with a rainbow wristband and provide you an icebreaker to get your conversations started 💬.
The venue is in a prime spot in downtown Sunnyvale, so there’s plenty of free parking 🅿️ nearby (both parking lots and street parking). If you decide to stay after, just an FYI that starting at 10:00pm, the second floor turns into a full club experience with a DJ 🪩 .

Upon entry:
As you enter, you’ll spot me in a black Singles Mingle sweater by a round bar table with a rainbow light. Once we get a rainbow wristband on you, it’ll be easy for fellow attendees to spot you, and you can start getting your mingle on.DISCLAIMER: This event is advertised on multiple social media platforms, so the RSVP count may not reflect the actual attendance.
Wristband distribution will be from 6pm-9pm, although you’re welcome to stay later if you’re making great connections and don’t want it to end – which is often the case 😊.
Age Info: This event is for ages 21 and up! If you're curious about the typical age range, it can be hard to predict, as not all attendees RSVP in advance. The predominant age range tends to be 30–65, though each event is unique and attracts a diverse mix of people.
Mission statement: Singles Mingle is on a mission to get singles off of dating apps and out meeting one another in person. Our goal is to offer a refreshing alternative to dating apps by providing monthly events where singles can meet, make friends, and enjoy a lively social atmosphere. We believe in the power of face-to-face connections and aim to create a space where individuals can step out of their comfort zones, delete the dating apps, and experience the genuine joy of mingling. Our events promise a fun and relaxed environment, making it easier for you to connect with other like-minded singles.
