Join us on Friday evening for a casual dining session with like-minded friends. Seat rotations will ensure everyone gets to mingle and interact with different participants throughout the event.

🎂 Age range for this event:

* Ladies: 1985 to 1993, with a slight extension to 1994 and 1995.

* Gentlemen: 1983 to 1991. For gentlemen who are 1-2 years below or above the range, you may apply for waitlist. If seats are available, we will consider your application.

📍Venue: a restaurant or food outlet in town and near MRT. It may not be halal. Disclosed only to confirmed applicants.

🕖 Meet-up time: 7pm. Session is until around 9pm or earlier.

Cost: $10 (admin fee only). Require prepayment of this admin fee. Dinner will be at own expense, with minimum spending from $12. Must order at least a main dish. It won't be an expensive restaurant.

JB trip: Bukit Tiz, Blue Lakes & Lunchu View (Sat, 14 Mar). singles social event

Join us for a 1-day getaway to JB as we explore scenic hills, picturesque blue lakes, and get to know friends along the way.

This is a budget trip and we will be sharing Grab rides within JB. So come with a flexible mindset and a sense of adventure. If hiking isn't quite your thing, you may opt for your own leisure activities (e.g. food hunting or shopping) with like-minded participants.

Cost:

a) $0 for those who paid and attended an event of One Plus One in 2025 to present. Please apply only if you attend.

(b) $10 admin fee for others.

Itinerary (subject to change)
i) After meeting 9am - 9:10am at Kranji MRT, we will take a public bus through Woodlands and JB Checkpoint.

ii) Own breakfast or brunch in JB, then share Grab to the Seri Alam / Plentong area for our hiking and sightseeing activities.

iii) Hike up Bukit Tiz, a popular spot known for its nice views. Next, we will head to the nearby blue lakes for some sightseeing and photo stops, before continuing to Bukit Lunchu for more panoramic scenery. You can also spot Singapore from the hilltop. Total walking distance is approximately 5-6km, takes about 2-3 hours, and with an elevation of around 100m. Expect some steep sections too.

This is our first visit to the area, but this is a popular hiking spot and we can always seek help from other hikers for directions.

iv) Optional extension to additional spots (e.g. Tree Tunnel, Shell Rock), depending on group interest.

v) After the hike, we can have an optional stop at a local product shop or a mall for food and shopping. You may also split off for your own activities and head back to Singapore at your own pace.

🔥Grill & chill: Sunset BBQ at Sembawang Seaside (Sat, 21 March)

It’s the Hari Raya public holiday! Join us for a cosy evening of nature sightseeing, relax near the seaside, meet friends and BBQ at the tranquil seaside park. To ease into the evening, we will begin with a leisurely stroll along the scenic shoreline. There will be light and easy activities (such as group rotations) for everyone connect comfortably.

Participants are not required to do the grilling, but anyone who likes to get hands-on with the sizzling experience can certainly do so.
