Join us for a memorable trip to Mersing for an island-hopping adventure. Highlights include a speedboat ride, visits to 5-6 islands with crystal-clear waters, snorkelling among coral reefs and marine life, fish feeding, sandbank wading, a hilltop hike, cliff jumping, and more. Nestled between the mainland and Tioman, some of these islands feature turquoise waters and sandbanks reminiscent of the Maldives, while others have hilly landscapes like the Bora Bora.

This is a budget trip using public transport, express buses, or shared Grab/taxi rides, so come with a flexible mindset and a sense of adventure. Confirmed applicants will be invited to a Telegram group to discuss transport, accommodation, and the island-hopping package.
🕖📍Meeting time & place: 3:30pm at Kranji MRT.
Cost: $10 admin fee.
** Transport, accommodation, and island-hopping are at your own cost. The full-day island-hopping package is RM170, which includes breakfast, lunch, drinks, snorkelling gear, and speedboat ride. At Mersing Jetty, there is a Marina Park and wristband fees of RM10 for Msians and RM40 for non-Msians.

Itinerary (subject to change)
Day 1:
i) Meet at 3:30pm at Kranji MRT and travel via Woodlands and JB Checkpoint. If the group prefers, we may meet earlier or later. (If you would like to take a direct bus from SG to Mersing, there is a 10:30pm night bus at $31)
ii) At JB, we will go Mersing either by express bus ($10) from Larkin, or share Grab/taxi at around $22 per person for a full car.
iii) Check in budget hotel in Mersing. Room is around $30, and you have to book it before arrival. If anyone likes to share a room, you can arrange for a roommate or we can assist you with that.
Day 2:
i) Check out hotel and head to Mersing Jetty. Board the 9am speedboat. The route and islands visited depend on tide conditions and the tour operator.
ii) Visit Pulau Sri Buat for light breakfast by the shore and an optional 15-mins hike to the hilltop for panoramic views. You may be able to see Tioman Island on a clear day.
iii) Wading at Pulau Raja, known for its clear shallow waters, picturesque sandbank, and Maldives-style scenery.
iv) Cruise through a mangrove river for sightseeing and photo taking.
v) Stop at a rocky island for snorkelling, with optional cliff jumping if conditions permit. Then cruise past Pulau Mensirip, Pulau Gual, and Pulau Rawa.
vi) Pulau Hujung: Snorkel through rich coral reefs where nemo (clownfish) are commonly spotted.
vii) Have lunch at Pulau Tengah, with time to snorkel, feed fish, or relax on the beach.
viii) Visit Pulau Besar for sightseeing, snorkelling, or a tea break at one of the island's resorts.
ix) Return to Mersing Jetty at around 5pm. After washing up and having dinner, travel back to JB by express bus ($5) or shared Grab/taxi, then continue to Singapore.
✅* Please bring your Singpass app for quick on-site verification that your marital status is Single or equivalent (open app > View all > Family > Marital status). As a genuine organiser, we put in reasonable effort to check that attendees are single. If your status is unverified, the Contact List will reflect "Unverified" next to your name.
📋* Only verified singles who attend the entire session will receive the Contact List, which includes the names of the opposite gender. Applicants can voluntarily add any of their contact details (e.g. email, telegram, IG) to that list if they wish to.
