SINK (Single Income No Kids)

This group is for single adults who are childfree by choice. You don’t have children, you’ve decided that parenthood isn’t part of your future, and you’d like to meet other people who have made the same choice.

Being single and childfree can mean having a little more freedom to say yes — yes to dinner on a weeknight, a spontaneous happy hour, a concert, a weekend getaway, a new restaurant, a hike, or whatever else sounds fun.

The goal of SINK is to create a community where childfree singles can make friends, build genuine connections, and yes — potentially meet someone to date. Sometimes you’re looking for a new group of friends. Sometimes you’re looking for a relationship with someone who already knows they don’t want children. Here, both are welcome.

Who is this group for? Adults who are currently single, do not have children, and have made the decision to remain childfree. This isn’t a group for people who simply haven’t had children yet or are still deciding whether they’d like them someday.

Also, being childfree doesn’t mean you have to dislike kids. You might love being an aunt, uncle, godparent, or the friend who happily plays with the kids and then happily goes home. It simply means parenthood isn’t the life you’ve chosen for yourself.
