What we’re about
Welcome to Virtual Sip and Chat for Black Women,
This is a safe haven built exclusively for Black women to unwind and connect with other like-minded black women. Sip & Chat is where we gather to let our hair down and have real, unfiltered conversations. From navigating the complexities of our careers and the corporate world (and all the microaggressions that come with it) to building healthy relationships, prioritizing self-care in a world that often overlooks us, strategizing on how to build generational wealth, and addressing the ongoing impact of racism. It's a space to vent, share experiences, offer support, and find solutions all while building a strong community.
This space was created to unpack the unique challenges we face.

Black Women - We are tired and we deserve rest
This meeting is inspired by the necessary conversations started by Alecia Renece the Artist, especially her video "black women deserve rest/why it's so hard for black women to rest."

We’re diving deep into these necessary conversations
🎬 Your Pre-Work (It's worth it!): Please watch the inspiring Alecia Renece video before our meeting. Come prepared to pour into the dialogue, share your initial thoughts, comments, and personal experiences with an open mind and a willing spirit. This isn't just a lecture; it's a co-created space. This is an interactive discussion

Meet the Inspiration: Alecia Renece the Artist – (I got this from the internet. Look her up yourself)
Alecia Renece is a multi-passionate Black artist—a soulful singer-songwriter, storyteller, photographer, and content creator. She uses her music, writing, and art to speak her truth, create space for vulnerability and healing, and encourage fellow creatives and Black women. Through her platform, she advocates for a life that honors rest, ease, and play, actively rejecting the toxic cycle of hustle and grind culture, and often sharing her journey as a "Free, Feeling, Sensitive, Romantic Black woman" dedicated to creating art that resonates and frees others.
