NOTE:
Meetup Purpose and Guidelines:
Our meetups are designed to create a space for socializing and spending quality time together. While we’re thrilled when members make meaningful connections, respecting each other's boundaries is essential.
The sole purpose of attending the meetup should not be to hit on someone.
If you meet someone you like at our meetup events and the feeling is mutual, we’re happy for you!
However,
If I notice anyone with a poor attitude, coming to my meetups just to hit on girls or find a date, requesting contact information or connection requests on Facebook, or anything outside of Meetup and if your approach makes someone uncomfortable, and if the other person raises a concern or not, you may be warned, and/or your actions might result in you being blocked or banned from attending future events.
Please keep in mind:
- The primary purpose of our meetups is to meet, drink, and socialize as a group rather than to find a date.
- Always ensure that your interactions are respectful and welcome.
- Boundaries are important—let’s prioritize creating a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
Thank you for understanding and contributing to a positive community experience!
Respect and Fairness:
- Open Communication: If conflicts arise, let’s address them calmly and directly with the individuals involved.
- Assume Good Intentions: Misunderstandings happen, but let’s approach situations with kindness and clarity. Please refrain from saying anything that might hurt others or make them feel uncomfortable.
- No False Accusations: We kindly remind everyone to approach interactions respectfully and reasonably to maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere at our meetups. Accusing someone falsely or making assumptions about others without evidence can harm the trust and harmony of the group. Let’s build our community on mutual trust and understanding.
I want everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy my meetups. As an organizer, I want to ensure everything goes well and everyone is happy. So, please be kind and respectful to others :)
We look forward to seeing you all soon! 🍹🍻
