Join us for our first meetup of 2026 at Busboys and Poets! We are kicking off the season with a lighthearted rom-com, The Catch by Amy Lea. This is a soulful space for Black women in Howard County to connect, celebrate Black authors, and build genuine sisterhood.

This July, we’re gathered at Mad Chef Kitchen & Bar to unwrap a family mystery. We’re discussing the New York Times bestseller Black Cake by Charmaine Wilkerson.

The story begins with a traditional Caribbean black cake left in a freezer and a voice recording that changes everything two siblings thought they knew about their mother.
