About us
This is a group for those of us who are 60+ and would like to stay more active and socially connected with others in our age group. The goal is to provide a variety of activities—something for everyone—so we can make new friends and find adventures together. We are inclusive and tolerant of all beliefs and backgrounds. From movies, museums and meals to concerts and hikes, we'll find ways to connect and support one another. We also hope others will step up and join us in planning and organizing events. Let's celebrate our age and experience!
Members must have a clear picture of your face and a completed profile to join. Also, please be courteous the host and those on the waitlist and change your "going" RSVP to "not going" at least a day ahead of time if you cannot attend.

Senior Social: Breakfast and a Movie — "Amazon Adventure”
Carnegie Science Center, 1 Allegheny Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA, USI have TWO free admissions available so hurry and sign up! There have been several cancellations.
Members of Carnegie Museums ages 65+ are invited to enjoy Senior Social: Breakfast and a Movie featuring “Amazon Adventure” presented at Kamin Science Center’s Rangos Giant Cinema.I already have the tickets and I can get 9+ myself in for FREE.
Seating is “first-come, first-served” with breakfast from 8–9:30 a.m. and the film beginning at 9:30 a.m. Run time: 45 minutes
Please allow plenty of time to get through the rush-hour traffic!

“Amazon Adventure” tells the epic, true story of Henry Bates, the son of a sock maker, a voracious learner, and multifaceted artist, who risked his life in the perilous Amazon in the 1850’s and discovered the “beautiful proof” for a revolutionary explanation for the development of life on earth.
Motivated by his thirst for knowledge and unable to be contained by his factory town, Bates set sail with his friend Alfred Wallace, both in their early twenties, on the adventure of a lifetime across the ocean to the Amazon rainforest and a burning quest to prove if species change.Parking is $6 in front of the Science Center. If the Main Lot is full, additional Science Center parking is available across the street in the North Lot at the same price as the Main Lot. There is a crosswalk from the North Lot to the Main Lot for your convenience.

I got an email invitation, so apparently they had a website glitch which said "Sold Out"... but now it is working and I was able to get tickets!Senior Social: Pop Generation is a series of events recommended for members ages 65 and over.
This edition of Senior Social: Pop Generation will highlight The Andy Warhol Museum's exhibition, Sharif Bey: Homecoming. Meet and mingle over refreshments, explore the collection of The Warhol, and enjoy a lecture about Andy Warhol’s sculptures.I have FREE tickets for 9 of our members that DO NOT have a Carnegie Membership and are 65+.
YOU MUST BE 65 OR OVER for this event. If you already have a Membership and HAVE GOTTEN your own ticket, please indicate that when you RSVP. I will add anyone to "going" who has their own membership and a ticket (Senior Social Ticket... not just an admission ticket). We will meet in the lobby at 9:00 AM. I
Museum parking is $8 (cash only) in The Warhol lot during normal museum hours. The lot is located on the northeast corner of Sandusky and East General Robinson Streets, and the entrance is on East General Robinson Street. A large Brillo Box parking attendant booth is next to the entrance.
