Sixty Plus and Smiling

Let's listen to Just in Time, a local band that does many different types of music at the Original Pittsburgh Winery. They'll be singing songs by Linda Ronstadt, the Eagles and Molly Tuttle. They are a talented group of singers that we have gone to hear twice before. The cost is $5 at the door, and we don't have to make a reservation ahead of time. Wine and other drinks will be available for purchase.

Please only sign up if you are serious about being there and will show up. We can have 6 people on our team.

Turn into Bakery Square from Penn Ave, and the restaurant Tako Torta is right in front of you. Turn right and look for a place to park outside - I have talked to security and to the owner of Bakery Square, and both tell me that the spaces are not monitored, at least at night. Ignore the signs that say that you can only park for 1 hour.

We will have a team of 6 players. It is very important that you show up, if you sign up. If you cannot come, it is important that you change your RSVP to "not coming". If you are on the waitlist, watch to see if you are moved to coming, if someone cancels. You can also cancel from the waitlist if you will not be able to come, so someone else can take a space that might open.

We will meet at 6 pm, to get the comfortable seats in front of the screen, and to share a meal. Trivia starts at 7 pm. If you cannot come till closer to 7 pm, let us know, but be there by 7 pm at the latest - your team needs you.

Let's view the Union Pacific Big Boy steam locomotive as it makes its way across the country. It was built in the 1940s and is the only steam locomotive in its class still in operation. It will stop in Leetsdale for a half hour so there'll be plenty of time to photograph it. There's no charge for the viewing.
Afterwards we can go out to dinner in Sewickley. I'll make reservations after I
know how many people are interested.
