Members of Carnegie Museums ages 65+ are invited to enjoy Senior Social: Breakfast and a Movie presented at the Rangos Giant Cinema of the Kamin Science Center. I already have the tickets and I can get 10 of us in for FREE. (If you are already a member, you can also get your own ticket as long as they are available, and I can get one more person in on the extra tickets).

IF the weather is very bad (snow, etc.) I will cancel this event, so be aware!

This is a very early in the day event. Breakfast begins at 8 am until 10 am. Please allow plenty of time to get through the rush-hour traffic! I will be at the entrance with your free ticket beginning about 7:45 until 8 AM promptly. If you aren't there, I will see if I can leave a ticket for you at the main desk. Extending from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean, the transcontinental railway in Canada, built by the Canadian Pacific Railway, is known as one of the greatest engineering feats in history. The last spike for the railway was driven in 1885. The film weaves together spectacular IMAX aerial cinematography, archival photographs and maps, and the potent energy and rhythms of a live steam locomotive. Seating is “first come, first serve” in the theater, with breakfast from 8-10 a.m. and the film beginning at 10 a.m. Run time: 46 minutes

Parking is $6 in front of the Science Center. If the Main Lot is full, additional Science Center parking is available across the street in the North Lot at the same price as the Main Lot. There is a crosswalk from the North Lot to the Main Lot for your convenience.
