Mahjong Teaching Tuesdays

Are you new to the game but want to know more? Whether you are a beginner or just need a refresher, this game night is for you!

Suzie Hauptman, a mahjong instructor for over 30 years, will lead us in "assisted play" classes for $20. If you have attended one of Suzie Hauptman's Mahjong classes, you are familiar with her upbeat teaching style. Suzie will walk us through set up, hand selection and game play strategies - until we are able to play on our own. This class is a bridge between the "beginner" classes and "open play" for experienced players.

Suzie is also the owner of a delightful women's clothing boutique called Polly and Esther where we will set up and play. If you like beautiful clothes, get there early and look around.

If getting there after work is tough with traffic, don't worry about dinner. You will walk right by El Colibri at 5331 Penn and I can assure you from personal experience, they have excellent empanadas and TACOS.
