“Amazon Adventure” tells the epic, true story of Henry Bates, the son of a sock maker, a voracious learner, and multifaceted artist, who risked his life in the perilous Amazon in the 1850’s and discovered the “beautiful proof” for a revolutionary explanation for the development of life on earth.
Motivated by his thirst for knowledge and unable to be contained by his factory town, Bates set sail with his friend Alfred Wallace, both in their early twenties, on the adventure of a lifetime across the ocean to the Amazon rainforest and a burning quest to prove if species change.

Parking is $6 in front of the Science Center. If the Main Lot is full, additional Science Center parking is available across the street in the North Lot at the same price as the Main Lot. There is a crosswalk from the North Lot to the Main Lot for your convenience.
