Mahjong Teaching Tuesdays

To Register - You must call the teacher Suzie at her store Polly and Esther at 412-863-1240. If you get the store machine, leave your name and telephone number - the registration fee can be paid in cash at the class. Just remember - no shows will not be able to sign up for any future events - this is a game that requires 4 players to a table - so please be sure you are able to attend prior to registering.

Whether you are new to the game or just need a refresher, this game night is for you!

Suzie Hauptman, a mahjong instructor for over 30 years, will lead us in "assisted play" classes for $20. If you have attended one of Suzie Hauptman's Mahjong classes, you are familiar with her upbeat teaching style. Suzie will walk us through set up, hand selection and game play strategies - until we are able to play on our own. This class is a bridge between the "beginner" classes and "open play" for experienced players.

Open play is also available on Tuesday, but you must be able to play on your own (with no assistance from the instructor) to join the open play group.

Suzie is also the owner of a delightful women's clothing boutique called Polly and Esther where we will set up and play. If you like beautiful clothes, get there early and look around.
