What we’re about
This group serves all those in the San Joaquin County who practice or are curious about Consensual Non-Monogamy.
This is a community building and educational space, NOT a dating/hookup/play space. Connections happen naturally and often, but the main goal of all events is always to build community connections first and foremost.
All of our events are safe spaces and welcome to newbies, first-timers, questioners, intrinsic polys, those who've been "in it a while", and all levels of experience or lack thereof. Being a safe space also mean all ages (over 18), orientations, genders, ethnicities, capabilities, religion, body sizes, neurodivergences... (did I miss any?) are welcome here.
The only thing not safe in our events is hate and misinformation. The recommendation is to not "hold on" to your hate or misinformation if called out on it.
Rules:
- Respect individual journeys and do not gatekeep.
- Do not DM members without asking in person (Admin Sarah's DMs are always OPEN)
- Celebrate No's as much as the Yes's

Social Mingle

- Set in a Private Room (with a see through glass wall).
- No structure to the event. Just come, hang out, chat, or just sit back and observe. Feeling shy or need to fill the empty silence? I'll have Ice Breaker questions on the table.
- No purchase necessary or admittance fee! Feeling generous? Buy everyone a pizza (sharing is caring!)
- ALL are welcome : no discrimination, hate, or judgement permitted. We all do Non-Monogamy different, we all present ourselves differently, and that's ok! It's all beautiful!
- New? We all are! This community was jump started in October 2025 (though founded in 2016).
-New to Consensual Non-Monogamy? This is a great place to ask questions, learn, grow, and connect! There will be books and brochures to peruse.

When does it start:
- We have the room reserved for 5:30 - 8:30. That includes set up and clean up.
- Come and go any time! Again, there is no structure!

Who is this:
- This group is called "SJC Polyamory/CNM" listed on all the above hosted sites.
- We are a community of all ages, sizes, colors, abilities, professions, genders, sexualities and forms of Consensual Non-Monogamy.
- CNM includes, but is not limited to: Polyamory, Swinging, Relationship Anarchy, Closed & Open Triads/Quads/and more, Poly-Mono relationships and those who don't believe in labels but want relationships/parterships/situationships with more than one individual simultaneously.

How much is this:
- Always free! No entry fee, no purchase necessary, no hat passed.
- If you have the means, there are a variety of food options from appetizers, a salad bar, pizzas, and beverages.
- Hosting, advertising, planning, executing, engaging the community, and all of this takes time and oftentimes resources on my end though. Poly/CNM Gaming
Dragon's Den Games, 2233 Grand Canal Blvd, Stockton, CA, USWhat to Expect:
- Games! I have plenty so don't worry about bringing your own, but feel free to do so! All of my games are easy to play and learn and include card games, geeky trivia games, party games, and discussion based games. But if you think you can pitch a more complex game to the group, by all means bring it!
- Show up by 1:15 if you want to get in on a game from the start of it. At 1:15 sharp we'll go around and introduce the games that we have available to play. We'll play until we've all had enough, but the venue has its own event around 5 so we'll want to clear out well before then.
- Late? That's fine! We'll try to fit you in to a game if we can. Or you can just hang out with us!

Parking
- Free Street Parking says 2hr limit, but the employee I spoke with said he's "never seen anyone towed for going over".
- The main free parking lot is behind the strip in the Marshall's parking lot. If you get lost just send me a message and we'll send out a scouting party!
